Heather Studsrud

PT, DPT, CIDN, PCES

Heather is a Northwood, North Dakota native.  She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree in 2007 from the University of North Dakota. She has lived and practiced in Fargo since that time. She continues to build on her experience and love for pelvic health, orthopedics, and neurological rehab.  In her spare time, Heather holds an active role with the APTA ND and is the ND Director of FUNfitness, affiliated with the Special Olympics.  She enjoys outdoor activities, spending time with her family, volleyball and golf. She has a love for reading, coffee, chips and great friendships.

Brittany Peschel

PT, DPT, CIDN

Brittany is a native of Halstad, Minnesota.  She graduated from the University of North Dakota with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree in 2012 and has practiced in outpatient orthopedics and neurological rehab in the Fargo ND area since that time.  Brittany has presented on various topics in physical therapy in several forums and has taken numerous certification courses focused on the latest and greatest in physical therapy techniques. Brittany has a collegiate athlete background which is where her passion for the human body and movement took off.  When she is not in the clinic, Brittany enjoys spending time with her family, keeping active and a great cup of coffee.

Kerri Melby

Revenue Cycle Manager

Kerri also hails from Halstad, Minnesota. She attended North Dakota State College of Science where she was a key player for the 2001 National runners-up, Wildcat Volleyball team which was inducted into the NDSCS Hall of Fame in 2011. Kerri started in the Physical Therapy world running a front office for 2 years, before being promoted to Regional Supervisor where she oversaw 22 PT clinics across 4 states, which sparked her love of travel. In her down time, Kerri enjoys spending time with family and friends, outdoor activities (especially kayaking) and plans to travel as much as possible.

Kari Torgerson

PT, DPT

Kari is a native of Ada, MN. She graduated from the University of North Dakota in 2009 with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree and since that time has lived and practiced in Fargo. Kari has worked in a variety of settings in her career; having a passion for treating individuals with neurological conditions, including: Parkinson’s Disease, CVA (stroke), traumatic brain injury, Multiple Sclerosis, and spinal cord injury. She is certified in programs specific to treatment of Parkinson’s Disease: LSVT BIG, PWR! Moves, and Rocksteady Boxing. Outside of work, Kari enjoys spending time with her family & friends, being active, and playing volleyball.

Heather Barry

PT, DPT

Heather Barry is originally from Mandan, ND. She graduated from University of North Dakota in 2013 with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree and since that time has practiced in Fargo, ND. Heather has primarily practiced in outpatient orthopedics with a special interest in treating TMD (temporomandibular disorder or jaw pain). Things that bring Heather joy are spending time with her family, practicing yoga, being outdoors and listening to a good podcast.

Rita Lerud

Front Office Coordinator

Rita is from Tower City, ND. She attended North Dakota State University where she discovered her love for photography and enjoyed the career for over 30 years. Since that time, she has relished in other areas of customer service but has become fond of the important role of Office Coordinator in a physical therapy setting.  On her down time, Rita and her husband enjoy spending time with their 3 kids and 2 granddaughters, relaxing at the lake and watching sports.

Amy Bach

Clinic Manager

Amy is originally from Laurel, MT.  She made the move to the Fargo/Moorhead area to attend and then graduate from Concordia College way too many years ago.  (1997) After graduation she put on her entrepreneur hat and started a childcare center until she made the transition to administrative tasks in a physical therapy setting. ​She now takes care of her adult coworkers at Activate! Amy enjoys spending time and traveling with her family and friends, cooking and baking all the things, watching 80’s classics, and a quiet morning with a great cup of coffee.
